Equestrian Photography

“After many unsuccessful attempts to take photographs of my 8 year old (going on 4) Welsh Section C Gelding, George, I decided that what I need was a professional photographer to take the photographs.

Alex Sharp came to my rescue and has taken some absolutely fantastic photographs of a very cheeky mummy’s boy.

The whole process with Alex has been a delight from booking the photo shoot to the actual photo shoot.

The photo shoot had to be re-arranged twice due to bad weather but we finally got a lovely sunny day.  Alex was very flexible when re-arranging the sessions as I had to fit in with the school run and school holidays.

Alex is a lovely lady who immediately put me at ease and even persuaded me to be in a few of the photos – I am extremely camera shy.  Alex made the session fun for both me and my pony.

One of Alex’s strongest points is how relaxed and chilled she was around my pony who is only a baby, is very nosey and extremely cheeky – even trying to eat the camera lens at one point.

I also loved the fact that she did not dictate what we did and when we did it but went with the flow of how George felt.

I found Alex the perfect photographer for George and I, she seemed to be on the same wavelength as me.

At no point during the session did I feel rushed which was lovely because basically George and I had fun and Alex took pictures of us having fun – perfect.

The photographs were absolutely fabulous.  Alex had captured the cheeky nature of my boy perfectly.  Deciding which photographs I wanted was a very hard decision but the pricing system and options Alex offered were excellent and very good value.

Overall I would recommend Alex wholeheartedly, she is a lovely lady who is very professional and takes fabulous photographs but also has that rare ability to put everyone at ease and makes a photo shoot a fun experience for all.”
