Product Photography To Increase Your Online Sales in 2021
Today's Blog is really for those of you that want to show your products to the best of their ability, to ensure they sell as well as they possibly can.
We all know that bad photographs do not show your products off to their best potential and therefore cannot achieve the sales that you want from your products.
A lot of sales these days are through the internet and in order for people to see your products and achieve that want to purchase your products without being able to touch and feel it, they need to be photographed well to create that feeling from the person viewing.
When I photograph products I make sure that I get a few different view points and angles to show people the product in different situations and settings.
Each product needs thought and some discussion as to what you are trying to achieve with the images. Whilst a lot of companies need their products to be on a white background, they also need photographs that are prettier for brochures, magazines and their own websites.
Whether you are photographing your products yourself or paying somebody else to do it for you, make sure you put plenty of thought into what will work for your company and your website - will the photos work with your branding - do you need to use a model - have you thought about the colour of your website and the colour of the background you are using for the images ?

I have 20 years experience with product photography and commercial photography and have photographed products for a variety of companies from Holland and Barrett and Julian Graves to small one person businesses. It doesn't matter how big or small your business is, if you have a product that you want to sell either to other businesses or in an online shop to the general public, they need good photographs, as this also reduces returns on your items. If people can see good images of what they are buying, you will get better sales and less returned products.
