Apologies for the lack of posting for the last month or so, June in particular was a very busy month, with family commitments and lots of weddings and equestrian photo shoots and commercial work too, July has started equally as busy, but I wanted to share some images of what I have been up to.

Lots of people have no idea what we get up to when we're not actually out camera in hand taking the photos. A long with that of course is the editing of those photos, answering enquiries - for weddings, commercial and equestrian photo shoots.

When I book a wedding there is then a meet up with the bride and groom to be, to discuss their big day, their timings etc.
Last month I also had a couple of days at the Confetti Fields doing family photo shoots, so afterwards there is ordering of prints and canvases and doing USB's for people who want everything from their photo shoots.

I forget all of the jobs I do - but ordering bespoke items is something else I do, regular items can be purchased through peoples online galleries of course.

I also have to order items in - sparkly heart USB's and the packaging for the USB'S too. I design wedding albums for any of my couples who decide they want a wedding album too, a couple of weeks ago I also photographed a christening for a young couple and in June I had 3 trips to London - all work related....

You see as well as photographing weddings, commercial/products, horses, dogs etc I also submit images to libraries and earn money from my images that way too, plus I shoot and use my images on my own range of greeting cards and then publish these and sell them on through shops and online shops etc. There's a lot going on at Alex Sharp Photography at the moment, I will be exhibiting at the Autumn Fair in September and I've applied to do PG Live in London next year and I will also probably be at The Spring Fair at the NEC 2020 too.

So with 6 weddings, 3 trips to London, horse photo shoots, a christening, plus commercial work, family photo shoots at the confetti fields, followed by the poppy fields in Bewdley and very sadly a family funeral to go to, plus I sold my cottage, I think it's fair to say that June totally wiped me out, hence on 28th June we had a short 6 day family break to Salcombe :-)

I Recharged my batteries - I did nothing but walk the dogs, take a few snaps - which actually entails, playing with my drone and the underwater Ikelite housing - it's how photographers relax lol and then drink coffee and sit and do nothing - sometimes sleeping and doing nothing is all we can do when we need to recharge the batteries.... mentally exhausted.....

So it meant for the start of my July weddings I was back on it and ready to go. So here's to another amazing month of weddings and I'm guessing what may be several hours of preperation for the Autumn Fair as it's about 7 or 8 weeks away now.
