Over the years I have been asked a lot if I teach people how to be a Wedding Photographer - now I have shot over 600 weddings I guess it's OK to say yes I can teach you how to do it and make it an enjoyable experience for all involved, plus teaching you how to be prepared for as many different eventualities as possible at the same time.

I am offering a One Day Wedding Photography Training Day, with plenty of photo opportunities, at a Bromsgrove Wedding Venue. I will also have a Bride and Groom available for you to photograph - with multiple bouquets and rings etc.

There will be a maximum of 8 people on the course, ensuring that there really is time for you to capture some great shots with the happy couple and build your own portfolio of images to use on your website and social media pages. As one of the hardest parts of being a Wedding Photographer is that without any photos you wont get any work.... so you will be able to get some great Portfolio building shots throughout the day.

The course will run on Tuesday 18th September ( I'm just firming up available dates with the venue) refreshments during the day will be included too. You will need to bring your camera and any lenses etc that you have. We will also discuss equipment and what I carry with me at a Wedding.

If you are a hobbyist, or part time photographer and want to build your portfolio and learn more about Wedding Photography as well as building your portfolio then this will be a great day for you.

The day will be full of amazing shooting opportunities for you to fill your portfolio with. We will be shooting inside and out and we will go through how to get the best shots in a limited amount of time, making use of available light and flash (for those who use it).

We will split the day into several sessions, giving us a chance to get plenty of shooting in, but also discussing the process from booking a wedding to delivering images and we can go over any questions you may have too.

You will need to bring your camera and lenses of course, plenty of memory cards, plenty of enthusiasm, plus appropriate clothing.

Having an opportunity to spend a day learning some basics - and not so basics, from a seasoned Professional about a job is a great experience and having a small group around you on the day is great for bouncing photo ideas round too, it is also a great way to have other people comment on your work in a creative and positive way to help you move forward and create the kind of shots you really want.

This is a day of shooting and learning, building your portfolio and sharing with the group.

The Price for the Day is £250.

A £100 deposit is paid at time of booking and the remaining balance due 30 days before the day of the shoot.

A minimum of 5 people are needed to run the course, so in the event that the minimum isn't reached all deposits will be refunded.
