Days Out for the School holidays

Half Term will soon be upon us, so here are some ideas for great days out with the kids and the dog if you have one.

Arley Arboretum is dog friendly and has plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy the fresh air and watch the steam trains go passed to - the views are great and the tea shop is also really good there.

Check out their website for full details, but it makes a great day out with lots going on to keep the kids entertained.

They have animal trails and all sorts to keep the kids happy.

Arley Arboretum is also a fabulous wedding venue.

Avoncroft Museum is another great place for a day out

http://www.avoncroft.org.uk/whats-on/events-programme/ check out their website for everything that's going on there over half term.

A great place with so much to see and do, plus coffee shop and souvenir shop. They have a craft and create week over half term - you may need to book the kids in for these though before hand as they are bound to be popular....

Avoncroft museum - is also another wonderful wedding venue :-)

Plus there is the west midlands safari Park, Bewdley, Stratford Upon Avon, you could pop to Henley and grab a fabulous ice cream and climb the mount to eat it. We have the river and Cathedral in Worcester. Slimbridge is another amazing day out and just an hour down the motorway.

Clent is also great for a run round for the kids and dogs, plenty of fresh air and fabulous views from the top, or if you're feeling super energetic and want some larger hills to climb, then let's not forget the Malvern Hills - that'll tire them all out. If you do decide to take the dog with you, remember the dogs water bowl and water for him/her too, they get super hot in their fur coats, or it may even be better to leave them at home in the shade if the weather stays as warm as it is. My boys have so much fur I have to walk them before it gets too warm in the morning and again once it's cooled down at night.

Don't forget of course your local parks and don't forget your camera, it's great to get photos of the kids running round outside having fun with the dog or their favourite bike or football.

If you would like to book a session over half term I can meet you at a local park and get some family photos of you all, action photos can be great fun, I have a few slots left during half term week, I come to the local park, spend an hour with you and the price includes two 12x8 inch prints of your choice for just £60 until the end of May.
