Hi,
I am taking quite a few bookings for 2016 and also 2017 now. I cover wedding photography at a variety of locations up and down the country. I am a wedding photographer based in Dodford, Worcestershire, but travel all over the country to photograph weddings.
This year I have photographed weddings at Arley Arboretum, Grafton Manor, Manor Hill House, Stone Manor Hotel, Stourport Manor Hotel, Warwick Castle, Curradine Barns, Red House Barns, Shustoke Barns, Malvern Registry Office, plus a variety of churches across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

There are several things to think about when booking your wedding photography, you need to think about things like whether you would like to have the photographer with you from Bride prep through to your first dance or whether you would like to just have them at the church and until you sit down for your wedding breakfast.
You also need to think about the style of wedding photography that you like. I shoot reportage style wedding photography, but also do some formal family photos as parents always like to have a few of these and they are always nice to have in years to come, but as well as few formal photos it's nice to do some more fun photographs with your bridesmaids and groomsmen so I always make sure we have a few fun wedding photographs in there too. This is of the Groom with his groomsmen by the orangery at Warwick castle.

This wedding group shot below was also taken outside a church in Worcestershire - near Clifton Upon Teme.
I also like to make sure that we get some great shots showing your venue, the wedding photo below was taken at Stourport Manor.

Inside at the Crown and Sandys the room is just beautiful and has lots of daylight pouring through the Orangerie windows.

Things to think about when you book your photographer - firstly - make sure you like your photographer as they will be at your wedding for most of the day and you want to make sure you feel comfortable with them and with them taking your photograph. Have a look at past weddings they have photographed, do they have any albums that they can show you, or a slideshow of other wedding photography work they have done ? Don't be shy, ask your potential photographer how many weddings they have photographed before - after all you don't want to be their first - or probably even their second wedding, so make sure they have plenty of experience and understand how the day will run. A good wedding photographer will be able to give you a rough idea of how the timings will run through your day. If a photographer hasn't been to your chosen location before they may offer to do an engagement shoot with you at your chosen location beforehand, don't be worried about asking them questions. You have to ask questions to get a feel of whether this is the photographer for you. Your chosen wedding photographer will also need to have public liability insurance. Ask them what happens if they get sick ?
You are paying them for a service, so make sure that you know exactly what you are getting for your money - does the price include all of the images edited hi res - or are you getting an album, or do you get both ? ask plenty of questions, don't be shy.
I photograph between 25 and 30 weddings a year, I work on a first come first served basis, so if you would like to have a chat about your wedding date, please get in touch and just ask if I am free to begin with and if so we can have an informal chat about what you would like - there is no pressure to book me when we meet, the choice is yours.
If you have your date and would like to have a chat with me about your wedding day, please just give me a call or drop me an email. I am currently taking booking for 2016 and also 2017.
