Today is Wedding Photography at Stourport Manor Hotel, Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire.

I have photographed a few weddings here, both where the couple have had a civil ceremony here and their reception, and also weddings where they have got married at church and come here for the reception afterwards.

The blossom trees in the grounds make for magnificent backdrops, like ready made confetti floating around in the background.

The staff at Stourport Manor Hotel are always very welcoming and helpful. The great thing is, they have plenty of space for guests who wish to stay over, plenty of car parking space and plenty of room in the grounds for fabulous photographs. Group shots can be done from the flat roof looking down over guests on the garden. Plus there are plenty of spots for the Bride and Groom to wander through the grounds and have photos of the two of them taken away from their crowd of guests.

I have also photographed weddings at all four churches in Droitwich, although St Peters’ church in Droitwich always seems the most popular. Whether it is because it has the park next to it which makes for fabulous photos I don’t know, but it is also a lovely church.
